Do you ever want to just save your documents regularly but MatterSphere displays the Save Wizard every time?
A simple keyboard shortcut can help.
CTRL + ALT + S
If your MatterSphere system is configured so that whenever you click Save, Save As or CTRL + S you are prompted with the Save Wizard then using the above keyboard shortcut will enable you to do multiple intermittent saves on the same document without displaying this.
It will still save the document with any system default settings in place i.e. save always produces a new version or save always overwrites then this is what will continue to happen even when the wizard does not appear.
This does of course mean that should you wish to manually control your versions or choose to overwrite if that is not the default then you will not be able to use the CTRL + ALT + S shortcut.
An initial save must always have been done against any new document.
Warning
Remember you need to know what happens to your documents when you have clicked through the wizard. If the document always remains open and you have to close by clicking on the X or File and Close then there are no changes to make. However if your documents always auto close on completion of the Save Wizard then you will need to take the following steps in order to get the benefit of this shortcut.
- Select the MatterSphere Tab
- Click Change User Settings
- Ensure Continue Editing After Save is ticked
- Click OK to confirm
